I can't wait to see pics of these guys from Toy Fair '05, but apparently the figures are 1:18 and will still sport the detail of the 6" figures. My whole life, I've dreamed of a line like this-- let's hope that it'll deliver.
Looks like my list of 1:18 Marvel customs has gotten a little shorter.

The line's gonna start with two two-packs:
-Spider-Man & The Thing
-Wolverine & The Hulk
I imagine those'll cost about the same as one 6" Marvel Legend.
After the two-packs, there will be individually carded figures, so those'll probably run $3-$5. Relatively cheap and very easy to collect.
Knowing myself, I'll probably buy these by the damn case.
cool!
not like I need another line to collect, but...
I don't need another line to collect either, but the way I see it, I'll probably be slowing way down on buying Marvel Legends, since my collection's pretty complete, and a lot of the stuff I'm missing will probably be produced this year.
I'll also be saving money on all the custom fodder I've been building up for that massive 4" Marvel characters project, so, in the end, that money will all go towards the 4" Marvel line.
What's awesome is that nobody beats Toy Biz at putting out good quality stuff for a very low price. I'm not expecting that to change.
I just wish I could see some pictures of these damn things!
toy companies always know just what figures to release when you have customs planned or in the works of that character!
don't get me wrong, I'm gonna be ALL over these.
just picture it...a huge Marvel vs Microman war on my living room floor.

It's pretty much why I went from customizing Star Wars characters to comic stuff. Hasbro was producing so many new characters that after a while, it was futile to make anything if it wasn't really obscure.
For a long time, I thought I was "safe" making Marvel and DC figures, since neither Toy Biz nor DC Direct/Mattel were making anything 1:18. I could still build DC stuff, but I've been wanting to make Marvel figures for a long time now.
Fortunately, I haven't bought tons of fodder and not a whole lot of my planned figures are started. While I don't think I'm going to quit customizing all together, I will slow down, I'm sure.
After all, new 4" Marvel figures means new 4" custom fodder.
and new heads for Micros...

Hmmm?
Might be all over these if they look good.
